  The 24-hour convenience and the helpful, friendly staff makes up for the fact that the place is always in need of a good cleaning and organizing session. Price-wise, it's a bit more expensive than a supermarket, but you're paying a for the convenience of a 24-hour convenience store right in the local neighborhood. CVS is particularly important to this neighborhood after PathMark closed down in 2015, leaving this neighborhood with no local supermarkets (I'm talking walking distance or even 5 minute driving distance) - You'd have to go to ShopRite of Clark or ShopRite of Woodbridge to get a better selection at better prices than CVS.
